SIEC actively participated during the online debate organised by the Fakulteti.mk – Vice Minister of Education and the Minister of Healthcare, including various education experts were present during the debate, together with approximately 400 online participants; 3 crucial points from the side of SIEC were suggested: 1. flexibly and realistically adapt to the current circumstances of online learning in the country, 2. use a combined learning model (2 days traditional school learning, with shorter classes, respecting all the corona crisis measures, 2 days online learning short sessions, 1 day for psycho-social support and more creative social interaction between pupils, parents and teachers). Above that, it was very important to suggest that high-risk social families and their children will need additional support and a tailor-made approach in order to prevent social exclusion from the future online education system (Roma children, children with special needs, lower-income families etc).
