On the 2nd of June 2020, TACSO, N.Macedonia organized an online Regional Meet-Up conference for the regional, national and local NGOS from the Western Balkans and Turkey to share their experiences on implementing various community projects during the corona crisis. The 3-day conference offers a general overview of the corona impact, the main challenges and potential future solutions offered by the CSOs, institutions and the donor community. SIEC believes that it is crucial to find the balance between reality of the emergency of the current situation, catering to the community needs and accomplishing tangible results. Among the local, national and regional CSOs and other stakeholders, the DG-NEAR and Rockefeller representatives shared their valuable experiences and recommendations stressing thereby the importance of finding solutions for the protection of the vulnerable groups such as women, elderly, children, Roma etc.
