At the end of 2019 and beginning of 2020, SIEC and ISLAA were preparing common activities on education and gender empowerment when corona outbreak happened so one of our planned gender workshops in March, devoted to the International Day of Women, had to be cancelled – after several months, we are continuing our future collaboration plans and therefore have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation on the 11th of August 2020, with the aim of designing activities and projects that will tackle the topics of education, gender and youth empowerment, leadership, solidarity and regional cooperation. No corona can stop US!
